City of Dublin FET College Dhúlaigh is delighted to announce a new articulation agreement with Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), creating exciting progression opportunities for students completing the College’s 2 Year Drama Programme, located in the Kilbarrack campus.
The agreement will enable eligible Dhúlaigh graduates who meet specified academic requirements to progress directly into Year 2 of either the BA in Musical Theatre or the BA in Drama, Theatre and Film at DkIT’s Department of Creative Arts, Media and Music.
The partnership represents an important step in strengthening links between Further and Higher Education, providing students with clear progression pathways and opportunities to continue developing their skills and qualifications in the creative arts.
Patricia O’Brien Brennan, Principal of City of Dublin FET College Dhúlaigh, welcomed the agreement, saying:
“City of Dublin FET College Dhúlaigh is delighted to formalise this articulation agreement with Dundalk Institute of Technology. By building stronger links between Further and Higher Education, we are providing transparent, accessible progression routes for creative talent and keeping student success firmly at the centre of our mission.”
The agreement reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to widening access to education and supporting learners in achieving their ambitions. By recognising the knowledge and skills developed through Further Education, the partnership will help students take the next step in their educational and professional journeys.
For Dhúlaigh students with ambitions in drama, theatre, film and musical theatre, the agreement offers a valuable opportunity to build on their Further Education studies and progress towards degree-level qualifications.
City of Dublin FET College Dhúlaigh looks forward to developing its partnership with DkIT and continuing to create opportunities for learners to realise their potential.
