City of Dublin FET College, Dhúlaigh hosted the 2026 Art & Design End of Year Student Showcase from Tuesday 5th May to Thursday 7th May at The Atrium, Fingal County Council Building, Swords.

Thanks to The Deputy Lord Mayor of Fingal, Councillor Grainne Maguire, for officiating and Julie Clarke, Fingal County Council Arts & Education Officer for facilitating the event.

Presented by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Creative Media, the exhibition celebrated the creativity, innovation, and achievements of students across a wide range of disciplines, including Art & Design Portfolio, Interior Design, Architecture, Photography, Fashion Design, Craft Production, Painting, Jewellery Design, and Ceramics. The showcase highlighted the skilled student work produced throughout the year, reflecting both technical excellence and strong conceptual development.


Prize Giving

The official showcase event took place on Thursday 7th May from 5:30pm – 8:00pm and included the presentation of the City of Dublin Sports and Cultural Council Art, Craft and Design Awards.

Local artist Paul Mac Cormaic presented awards to outstanding creative students from across City of Dublin ETB, and light refreshments were served.

The event warmly welcomed visitors to celebrate the talent, creativity, and innovation of the students.
