The application system for the 2026/2027 academic session, commencing in September 2026, is open.
Information on all courses is available on the College website
The College offers Open Information Sessions at certain times during the year and details are displayed on the website. The next Open Evening is March 4th. ‘Meet & Greet’ sessions will follow a few weeks later. The fee amount for each course is mentioned on the course page. It is unlikely fees will be payable before the summer. More information to follow. Some part-time and work-based courses do not require fees, eligibility depending.
Applications are welcome from international students resident in Ireland (non EU/EEA), subject to migrant eligibility criteria. Please see here for further details.
Courses are filled on a first come, first served basis by attending in-person registration in early September and meeting all the registration requirements. Date of application and date of fees paid are then taken into account.
Please note, timetables are not published until September.
The Application Process
Step1:
Make an application via the form on the college website.
Shortly after you will receive an invitation for interview or a provisional offer for those courses that don’t require an interview.
(Provisional offers are subject to places being available and any specific course requirements being met, such as an interview, audition, sample artwork, specific Leaving Cert. Results, relevant experience, etc. Refer to the course entry requirements on the relevant course page here.)
Step 2:
Interview or ‘Meet & Greet’ session.
Courses with interviews:
Approximately 30% of our courses require a short interview. The first interview day this Spring take place on the afternoon of March 11th across our three campuses. You should receive an email with a time and location. Please check your spam folder. Please see here for commonly asked questions. Please check the entry requirements on the course webpage to see if an interview is required for your chosen course. If you cannot attend, you will be re-invited to the next available interview day. Typically, there are two interview days in Spring and one in late summer.
Courses without interviews:
All other courses will hold ‘Meet & Greet’ sessions where students are invited into the college to learn more about their chosen course. Attendance is not mandatory but strongly advised so you can meet the coordinator, ask questions about entry requirements and get a sense if the course is suitable. The first Meet & Greet session is March 2026.
Step 3:
Pay a non-refundable Course Charge online to secure your place. The fee amount for each course is mentioned on the course page . It is unlikely fees will be payable before the summer. More information to follow. Some part-time and work-based courses do not require fees, eligibility depending.
Step 4:
Complete registration
In-person registration for most courses typically takes place in early September on the Coolock campus. You will be contacted over the summer when the registration schedule has been published on the website.
