City of Dublin FET College, Dhúlaigh is proud to celebrate Owen Churcher and Adam Maguire, whose books have been shortlisted in the An Post Irish Book Awards.
Penguin TV , written by Owen Churcher and illustrated by Niamh Sharkey, is nominated in the Children’s Book of the Year (Junior) category. Owen is a tutor on the Graphic Design course at our Art & Design campus in Raheny.
The Bailout Babies by Adam Maguire—formerly a tutor on Dhúlaigh’s Journalism course and now RTÉ Business News presenter—is nominated in the Non-Fiction Book of the Year category.
The public are being asked to Vote for their favourite books from this year. All voters will be entered into a draw to win one of five €100 National Book Tokens vouchers. Voting closes at 6pm on 16th November
